Priyanka Chopra's 'I Can't Make You Love Me' is the third in her series of singles being released post 'In My City' and 'Exotic'. With all the action going on in Priyanka's life; with her films and endorsements, it is truly commendable to see her putting as much focus and effort in her singing career, as she does in her acting. In today's clustered entertainment era, being a "Jack of all trades" is actually a huge requirement and opportunity. And of course we have seen how she uses it to her best ability. 'I Can't Make You Love Me' by Priyanka is a 1991 cover of the same song, originally sung by Bonnie Raitt.

 

Singing a more contemporised version of the old song definitely gives Priyanka the opportunity to reach out to the current music listening generation and her fans. One may ask – why a cover? Why not an original? Well, that as most will know is a creative call, but I presume it was also to look at something which is simple and available rather than doing something from scratch and risking it not working out.

The song has a predictable rhythm, which while it has its breaks, picks up in the right spots. And I mean this in a good way. I cannot help but tap my foot and bob my head while it plays in the background. Vocally, the song is simple and truly does not require a seasoned singer to deliver. Priyanka has however done justice to it and ensures that you can focus on the rhythm and melody rather than her.

Priyanka Chopra and Britney Spears have posed for a photograph together in Las Vegas.

The picture surfaced on Twitter, as the Bollywood star attended Spears's 'Piece of Me' stage show at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Chopra reportedly watched the show with Spears's manager Larry Rudolph.

She arrived in Las Vegas to host a club night in the city, following an earlier performance in Tampa at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards.

Chopra's third single release 'I Can't Make You Love Me', a cover of Bonnie Raitt's hit '90s song, launched in India and the US last week.

Rambo Ranjha is Romeo Ranjha now!

Makers of upcoming Punjabi film starring Jazzy B and Garry Sandhu have faced an unusual dilemma. They were asked to change the title of their film Rambo Ranjha by Hollywood film studio who owns the rights to use Rambo.

Confirming the news, producer Gunbir Sidhu posted on his facebook profile about the news. The film will be called Romeo Ranjha now.

Interestingly, Jazzy B in the past has sung two very popular songs with titles Romeo and Rambo.

The film is releasing on May 16, 2014. It is directed by Navaniat Singh who has directed films like Mel Karade Rabba, Dharti, Taur Mittran Di, Tera Mera Ki Rishta and more. Rambo Ranjha is produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu under their banner White Hill Basic Brothers Entertainment.

Aamir Khan's 'PK' set for Dec 19 release

Christmas season seems to spell magic for Aamir Khan's films and continuing with the trend, the makers of his upcoming film "P.K." have decided to release it about a week before X-Mas.

"Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films, in association with Disney India, confirm that 'P.K.' shall release on Dec 19, 2014," said a statement.

The political satire was slated to release in June this year but it got delayed. Hirani, who is also directing the film, had earlier said that most of Aamir's films release during Christmas and they have done well.

The superstar's blockbusters like "Dhoom:3", "3 Idiots" and "Taare Zameen Par" had hit screens around Christmas.

"P.K." also features actor Sanjay Dutt, Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput.
